Learning for Civic Action Challenge
Politize!
Developing a generation of citizens who are aware and committed to democracy, bringing civic education to anyone, anywhere.
Solution Pitch
The Problem
Brazil sees low political participation and even less interest in the political culture. This generates apathy, lack of dialogue, intolerance and violence. All of this points to the rise of disinformation, extremism, authoritarianism and democratic fragility. Without a prepared and articulated civil society, Brazil will continue to be overwhelmed by public problems.
The Solution
Politize! produces free and unbiased content of political education on the internet, trains civic leaders for being capable of solving public problems and trains teachers to educate the youth in the process to become an engaged citizen.
