Tara Pandey is a junior at McLean High School. She is a member of her school's Model United Nations Club, is co-president of the Ethics Bowl Club, and a reporter for The Highlander, the school newsmagazine. In her free time, Tara loves to cook for her friends and family, play with her dog, watch critically-acclaimed films, and thrift. She enjoys writing and uploading monthly posts to her two blogs, one centered around international cuisine (https://www.cookinquarantine.com) and the other detailing her journey working with a women-run cooperative in rural Nepal (https://medium.com/@tarapandey). Tara is also passionate about computer science. She works at Code Ninjas, an after-school center, where she teaches kids how to code their own games and projects. She plans to study computer science and psychology in college.
