Aashini is a senior undergraduate studying Mechanical and Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on Medical Devices. In her research, she has worked on projects ranging from halogenated photoswitch synthesis to designing a wheelchair-accessible mobile clinic. Her current interests lie in the applications of nanofabricated devices for wireless neurostimulation. As a former member of the Solv[ED] committee, Aashini enjoyed meeting new people and giving input on new ways to empower young people to explore new possibilities to solve local problems. Outside of academics, Aashini loves to travel, play guitar, and study languages.
