Meet Anesa Colakovic born in Kosovo; she is a Fulbright alumna in the United States of America, a World Learning Fellow, a Shusterman scholar in Israel, a Chevening Scholar in United Kingdom, and a Rotarian in India. She has numerous awards in the field of education such as: European Fund for Balkans, Unicef Innovations Lab, and TechCamp that encouraged her to found a non-profit organization that will work in the field of: science, technology, innovation, education, and social entrepreneurship.
The concept of social entrepreneurship and the socio-economic development runs through her veins. She has experience in setting up both organizations and businesses with a strong social focus. For 11 years, on a voluntary basis, Anesa lead numerous projects/events/campaigns for social inclusion and community development in Kosovo, Serbia, United States, and India. She enjoys working on social business development ideas and start-ups which promote economic development and employment of marginalized communities, minority groups, youth, women, and people with disabilities. Previously, she worked in international organizations and government institutions.
Anesa has a bachelor in Economics and Statistics and Public Policy and a minor in Law from Rochester Institute of Technology, USA and a Master in International Development from Ohio University, USA.
