Jade is the (all expeditions unsupported and unassisted):

  • Youngest person to ski to the North Pole from anywhere outside the last degree (age 14).
  • Youngest woman to complete the Greenland crossing (age 15).
  • Youngest person to ski from the coast of Antarctica to South Pole (age 16).
  • First Australian woman in history to ski coast to South Pole.
  • First woman to set a new route to the South Pole.
  • Youngest to ski to both Poles and to complete the Polar Hat-Trick.

She has:

  • Been the subject of two National Geographic Channel documentaries
  • Written a book on her journeys, seeking to also educate young people on climate change (Macmillan)
  • Twice been the Australian Geographic Society Young Adventurer of the Year (2016 and 18).
  • Delivered a TEDx Talk (aged 15).

Jade is currently 20, lives in Melbourne, and is in her third year of a Bachelor of Commerce and Global Studies degree.
