Pratik Kunwar is a Nepali civic innovator and founder of the non-profit Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation (CEI). Through its flagship civic program, Shaasan (meaning governance), CEI advances civic justice, participatory democracy, and responsive governance in Nepal through civic technology, digital media advocacy, and grassroots development.
Pratik has spoken about his civic innovation work and championed civic justice, youth empowerment, and Global South inclusion at the World Forum for Democracy, One Young World, and the World Economic Forum, among others, and been featured by Forbes, Time, and WEF, among others.
Pratik also serves on the Advisory Council of the World Economic Forum's Global Shapers Community supporting over 15,000 young leaders across 500 cities globally. Pratik received a B.A.(Hons) from the University of Nottingham and is the first Nepali to attend MIT's Data Economics and Development Policy program.
