Stephanie Barron (She/Hers), is of mixed Chiracahua Apache, Indigenous Mexican, and German descent. She graduated from Randolph College with a BA in Biology and Environmental Studies and has worked with and for federal, state, tribal, and nonprofit entities in the fields of botany, forestry, fisheries, wildlife, and environmental education. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in Environmental Science at the University of Montana. Her research focuses on human-carnivore conflict prevention through decolonial youth education. Engaging communities and shifting perspectives to facilitate positive relationships with carnivores is what she is most passionate about.
